It’s time once again to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Delaware and Chester County’s small businesses at this year’s virtual Business Achievement Awards program Sept. 24 at noon.
This is the 10-year anniversary for this annual program, sponsored by SCORE Chester and Delaware Counties.
Owners and entrepreneurs that have demonstrated unique vision, innovation and achievement in support of the local economy and small business community are recognized.
Due to the pandemic, this year’s Business Achievement Awards program will take place virtually rather than the traditional in-person luncheon.

This year has been particularly challenging for small businesses due to the coronavirus.
Many local businesses pivoted to take care of their customers while navigating the effects of COVID-19.
SCORE has also pivoted to virtual services and has been there to help business owners overcome these obstacles.
SCORE is offering remote mentoring, daily webinar briefings with SBA loan officers about EIDL, PPP and Cares Act programs, and live webinars on a variety of topics of interest to small business owners.
SCORE Chester & Delaware Counties has focused its resources on helping businesses reopen and recover.
It is continuing its mission to foster vibrant small business communities through mentoring and business education. More than 100 SCORE volunteers have been working to help businesses find the resources they need to manage this transition and plan their path forward.
