- US women-owned businesses generate $1.8 trillion a year
- 40% of US businesses are women-owned
- 64% of those were started by women of color last year
- 62% of women entrepreneurs cite their business as their primary source of income
- Just 25% of women business owners seek business financing

Every Fall, since 2014, West Chester University (WCU) and SCORE gather local entrepreneurs, small businesses, SCORE mentors, and community partners together to celebrate, network, learn, and face the special challenges of starting up and growing woman-owned businesses.
