Anton Dell’Orefice felt “stuck” in a demanding, dead end commercial real estate career, when a friend suggested that he should just quit his job. This would have been a bold move, as Anton and his wife were expecting the birth of their 4th child. Well, Anton’s friend had a plan for him that would eventually lead to the start of a new business venture. Two weeks later they were off to a trade show in Atlantic City at his friend’s suggestion. Anton noticed at the trade show, that there was one equipment manufacturer that stood out over the rest. This company provided superior embroidery equipment, so he decided to spring for the best.

Anton installed the embroidery machine in his basement and thus was born Delightful Detail, a company specializing in Custom Embroidery, Screen Printing, and Promotional Products. To promote his business, Anton joined the chamber of commerce as well as networking groups. When he attended their meetings, he always made a point of wearing a logoed shirt to promote his products. One factor, Anton attributes to his early success is never saying no when a client asked about a different type of product. He would always take the order and then figured out how to fulfill the request.

As his business grew, Anton was faced with a decision of moving the business or to locating to a storefront. He eventually rented a building that was on Baltimore Pike in Concordville.  He moved his business and was able to open a showroom as well. He was pleased to discover a boost in sales with a place where clients could come for quick turnaround promotional jobs.  Anton also made a point of switching to a chemical free screen printing process thus differentiating his business from the competitors. His business has been growing steadily since then. His products include screen printing and engraving and in 2017 he doubled his income from clothing sales.
